Beausoleil First Nation recently became a member of the
Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology Network (SWIFT). We
are working toward eventually offering fibre optic broadband
to provide very high-speed Internet for Christian Island.

In 2016, Chimnissing Transit was started to provide safe,
affordable transportation to Penetanguishene and Midland
where most of our community members shop, bank, and go for
fun. What started as a pilot project resulted in a much-needed
public service. In 2018, we sought funding to continue operations
with growth and improvement.
