Philip was awarded medals at a number of cooking
competitions, including the following:
• 2011 Hong Kong International Classic: bronze medal (three-
course lunch plate) and silver medal (Western Cuisine
blind box—chicken)
• 2012 Emirates Culinaire, Dubai: silver medal (practical
cookery—lamb) and Bronze Medal (practical cookery—
fish/seafood)
• 2012 Culinary Olympics Germany: silver medal (Category B—
individual plated entrees and casual lunches)
