Using the template of the turtle, students are also connecting to

Connections to Land
Read the Beausoleil First Nation Resource Book to assist students
with their analysis of the activity. As you read through the pages
(specifically, pages 7 to 11, Our Land) consider the positive and negative
effects of interactions among Indigenous peoples, among Europeans,
and between Indigenous and European people prior to 1713, in what
would eventually become Canada.
