Water Treatment Plant
For more than 20 years, our community had a boil water
advisory. This meant that our water was not safe to drink. It
had to be boiled for at least one minute before we used it for
drinking, making ice, washing fruits and vegetables, and brushing
our teeth. When our Water Treatment and Distribution System
began operating in December 2010, the boil water advisory
finally came to an end. Certified operators work to ensure that
there is enough water for the future growth of Moose Deer
Point First Nation.
