In Moose Deer Point, we are working to make our language
stronger. While we need to develop solid plans as the
Anishinaabemowin language is rapidly fading out, we do ensure
that our youngest children hear and learn the language. Thanks
to caring Elders such as Helen St. Pierre and Joan Hendrick, we
have a regular language program that we run a couple of days
each week through our child-care centre.
