Policy

As requested by member communities, the Ogemawahj Tribal Council (OTC) provides direction, guidance and assistance in the design, development and implementation of several policy areas. These areas may include human resource planning, policy development, program evaluations, implementation processes, operational and strategic planning and team building.

The OTC also focuses on providing assistance to member communities in determining organizational effectiveness and reviewing First Nation administrations. While providing this assistance, the OTC maintains a focus on identifying best practices, successes and positive solutions leading to continuing improvement. The council also provides strategic advice for member communities pertaining to First Nation relations with federal, provincial and municipal governments.
